Member Showcase
Prior to being accepted as an exhibiting artist in Naples Artcrafters, Inc, all prospective members must have their artwork evaluated and approved by the Standards Committee.

This committee meets the last Monday of each month, October through April at Norris Center, 755 8th Avenue South, Naples, FL 34102.

Appointments are required.

Three items representative of your work must be provided for jurying.
Jury Fee is $10.00, payable at time of jurying.

Since we currently have a very high number of applicants in the areas of jewelry and photography, the number of accepted applicants may be limited.
 
Standards of Acceptance
Concept
Work must be designed and executed by the artist/craftsperson. Production work is not accepted.
Design
The form and structure of the object must be planned and fashioned artistically using the organization or structure of formal elements of the art or craft -- composition, balance, color, and texture. The work should demonstrate expertise of workmanship and knowledge of technique.
Originality
The work must show the ability to think and express oneself independently and individually with freshness or novelty in its idea or method, using color and texture in an original and creative manner. Craft items must include handmade components.
Presentation
A high quality of craftsmanship and a finished look is expected and the work should be displayed in a professional manner. Work presented should be in "exhibit" condition. All two-dimensional artwork must be framed or gallery-wrapped (having the media continue around the top, bottom and sides of the stretched canvas).

Rules for Participation in Naples Artcrafters Inc Art Shows
1. In order to participate in Naples Artcrafters Art Shows, you must be juried in and be a member in good standing.
2. All participants must have a white 10' X 10' tent that must be secured properly by use of weights or tie downs.
3. All tables must be covered and skirted to the ground, and the booth must have a professional appearance. ALL two-dimensional artwork which is hanging MUST BE FRAMED OR GALLERY WRAPPED. Artwork that is not framed must be displayed in a print bin and may not be displayed on the ground.
4. Fire regulations require the display of "No Smoking" signs in all booths. Fire extinguishers should be part of each artist's equipment.
5. Only work approved by the Naples Artcrafters Standards Committee may be displayed at our shows. Artists found displaying or selling unapproved items, must immediately remove such work from their display.
6. Naples Artcrafters is a volunteer organization and members are expected to serve a minimum of 5 hours of volunteer time per year to maintain eligibility for participation in the monthly shows.
7. The show application and show fee must be received on or before the date indicated on the show application. If late, a $25 late fee must be included. These fees are non-refundable.
8. If a show is canceled due to inclement weather, refunds will not be issued.
