NAC Artists Listed Alphabetically

MARSHA E. AARONS.....Art has always been a part of my life in one form or another.   After majoring in sociology and fine arts, I completed a Master's Degree in social work and worked in a hospital for many years.   My art interests led me to garden design and I became a master gardener designing and installing gardens.   When hip problems ended my garden career I began designing jewelry and chose "Garden of Beaden" as the name of my business.   I use a wide range of materials in my jewelry including seed beads, semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls.

RUTH ANN ANDRUS.....I began drawing at a young age.   Sitting for hours I would try to duplicate the illustrations in my favorite books.   The years have passed, and I moved from Ohio to Naples, Florida in 1978.   That same year the first of our nine children was born.   As my children have grown they have watched me experiment with many different mediums.   Today I work primarily in acrylics on the textured masonite or canvas.   I welcome commissions and have painted everything from miniatures to murals in a wide variety of subjects.

PAMELA CANNON ....My work for Naples Artcrafters is done in high fire clay: hand formed ceramic mirrors, ceramic animal bells, and bobble creatures.   With the mirrors, work is done in high relief and in full color stain.   My prices range from $35 to $85.   The hand formed bells and bobblers are whimsical and priced from $15-29.   (see photo)

TOM CARDAMONE.....Tom studied privately at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and then attended Brooklyn College before enrolling in the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.   After graduating from SVA, he returned and taught there for 26 years, during which time he developed a series of advertising courses.   He is also the author of several technical books in commercial art. He is a signature member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters, and some of his slides are in the archives at the Tate Museum in London.   In July of 2004, he was juried into the prestigious International Guild of Realism.

JULIE CARLSON ....I .am drawn to the intriguing spiritual innocence of nature. Spending time outdoors slows me down to a point of stillness where I open up to observe, listen, feel, and obtain special unity with nature. That emotional attachment goes beyond intellectual reasoning into the inner depths of my soul. The mystical splendor discovered in local subjects, hills, valleys, water, flowers, and grasses naturally draws me to painting an impression of what I feel and love. That spiritual bond inspires an emotional power of unlimited energy from the light, color, and perfect detail of lives forces. When I envision something more, the outpouring of spontaneous artistic impulse is greater than myself and becomes a very personal experience of joy and excitement. Art is something I like doing so much that I can do it for the fun of it and that is where I hide my love for art.
